Perris Organizers provides a live skydiving load board for Skydive Perris, available as a website and as the Perris Organizers iOS app. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the load board. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Your name — if you add yourself to the jump waitlist (or a load organizer adds you to a load), the name you enter is stored so organizers and manifest can build and call the load. That's the only personal information we store.
- A device notification token — only if you opt in to load alerts. This lets us send the "your load is coming up" push notification to your device. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for anything else.
We do not require an account, and we do not collect your email, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
How we use it
Names are shown on the load board to organizers and manifest staff for the sole purpose of organizing jumps that day. Notification tokens are used only to deliver the optional load alert you asked for. We do not use any of this for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Where it's stored
The board runs on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), which acts as our data processor. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Load and waitlist entries are organized by jump day and are routinely cleared as the day's operations end.
Sharing
We don't share your information with third parties for their own use. The board is visible to anyone using the public viewer at the dropzone (it shows the names on each load, as a manifest board would). Don't enter information you don't want shown on that board.
Your choices
Load alerts are opt-in and can be turned off in your device's notification settings at any time. To have your name removed from a board, ask a load organizer at the dropzone or contact us below.
Children
The app is a general-audience operations tool and is not directed to children under 13.
